New Website

Brothers and friends,

It is with great satisfaction that we are unveiling a new website for our jurisdiction. This new site represents a significant improvement over our old site, while retaining those things that distinguished our presence on the web previously. You will still find all of the old content you have come to expect. Additionally we have tried to make sure that any bookmarks you might have will still work. So, enjoy the new experience, and let us know if there is anything we can do to make it better.

Our new site is powered by a state of the art content management system. You will notice that the structure of the site has not greatly changed, but we can assure you that behind the scenes this is a whole new ball game. Our new platform will allow us to more quickly update information, post news, create new pages, and in general create a better web experience, foster better communication and diseminate information quickly to you our brothers.

Some new features you will notice as you browse the site:

  • New navigation: Use the menu on the left side of the page to browse the site. Place your mouse over any item that has an arrow next to it, and it will pop out showing more pages.
  • Bread crumbs: As you navigate the site a "bread crumb" will appear at the top of the page. This lets you know where in the site you are. You can click those links to back up a level if you want to.
  • Blogs: Have you heard about Weblogs, otherwise known as Blogs before? Well, they are a quick means of communicating over the web. Keep an eye on the "Blogs" entry in the menu to see who is blogging at Grand Lodge.
  • News: We have a completely new system for handling our news. Keep an eye here for a good flow of information on the jurisdiction.
  • RSS Feeds: We have enabled RSS feeds for the Blog content on the site. So, users of RSS supporting browsers can "subscribe" to these.

That's it for the moment. Enjoy,

The Website Team
