RE: Protection of Children and Lodges.

Brethren,

By product’s of the Masonic Child ID Program are membership involvement, membership retention and membership growth. As Chairman of the Child Identification Program I need your help? I would ask every lodge in this jurisdiction to participate in the Child Identification Program. Involvement means, host at least one event even if it’s only a demonstration at your lodge for your members with the participation of one child, a grandchild, family member or neighbor. You say we only meet once a year, great have this as your program. There is something in the Masonic Child Identification Program for everyone, even you! All Masons want to protect Children. You want to save your Lodge for future generations, if not for your son, maybe your grandson. Working together we can accomplish both. Allow the Grand Master’s program, the Child Identification Program, to help you and your community. We are tired but we are very strong, roll up those sleeves; I promise you that I will work just as hard and just as long as you.

As Masons we can and should address this growing public safety issue facing families by putting people, not money, to help our at risk members of society. We are nearly 65,000 strong, together one district at a time; we can and will make a difference. Please support our Grand Master and the children of this state by participating in this vital community service program. Remember Masons HELP because Masons do CARE.

Keep up with what’s going on within the Child ID Program by checking out the following Grand Lodge Web Site at: (http://www.nymasons.org/cms/blog)

Warm regards,
Donald Elliott, State Chairman
