Yesterday was the First Day of the Erie County Fair.

I would like to thank the Chairman Ed. Miller and all the volunteers.
We processed 106 children. Join the team, volunteer to help at our Child
ID Events.

Please post all upcoming events here allowing volunteers to pick events
close to their homes to help.

The Onondaga District Child I.D. Umbrella Committee is asking for volunteers on May 17, 2008 at the Child I.D. Event to be held at The Race for the Cure.

Location: New York State Fair Grounds, Gate #2, Center of Progress Building
Reporting Time: 7:30 AM (This I.D. Session is scheduled to last until approx. 11:30 AM)

Masons to Help Find Children

In New York state, 21,753 children were reported missing last year, according to statistics from the Division of Criminal Justice Services.

For the last 10 years, the Freemasons in New York have been giving free child video tapes to parents in order to assist law enforcement authorities by providing reliable pictures of how their child walks, talks and looks from several angles.

The three 7-year-old girls were on their way to a friend's birthday party, but they had one important stop to make first.

They had to be fingerprinted and questioned.
